Isma’ hawn:
F’din is-sessjoni Anna u Gottfried Catania ser taw ir-reazzjoni tagħhom għar-riċerka li saret mill-Fakultà tat-Teoloġija u identifikaw l-isfidi li joħorġu flimkien mal-opportunitajiet li ta’ min jinvesti fihom. Issemmew temi bħall-Knisja, il-familja, żgħażagħ u tfal, social media, sfidi finanzjarji u relazzjonali fil-familji, il-prattika tal-fidi ‘l barra mill-bini tal-knisja, l-emfasi fuq temi ambjentali u soċjali, tibdil fis-soċjeta’ u smigħ tal-Knisja. Fid-diskussjoni ġejna mistednin nagħrblu flimkien il-modi kif l-aħjar li ngħaddu l-fidi f’soċjetà li dejjem tinbidel.
Mistoqsijiet imħejjija minn Anna u Gottfried li ġew diskussi fil-workshops:
- The church is seen by some as a judgmental organisation rather than a loving one. How can the priest, in his pastoral work, emphasise more the loving nature of God rather than His judging aspect?
- Youths communicate mostly using social media. How can the Church be more active in this area, and how can you as a priest enhance your visibility on social media?
- In a very hierarchical organisation such as the Church, change tends to occur slowly. However, the pace of change in society is increasing rapidly. How can the Church, and you as a priest, adapt to be more in tune with the pace of change?
- How are parishes adapting to the new needs of families.
- How strong is the sense of outreach in your parish? Visiting the family in its home, visiting the sick in home and hospitals? Times of visits?
- How strong is the children’s ministry in your parish? What are the specific activities organised for families and youths?
